Stourhead According to the National Trust annual report for 2009/10, Stourhead was the 2nd most visited property attracting over 350,000 visitors.






Stonehenge Landscape

A significant part of the land of the Stonehenge World Heritage Site is owned by the National Trust. Many scheduled ancient monuments are located here including Woodhenge, the Stonehenge Cursus, the Avenue and Durrington Walls. A number of barrows can also be found within National Trust land. The Nile Clumps near Amesbury are reputed to commemorate the Battle of the Nile.

Situated in the Cathedral Close, Mompesson House dates from the 18th Century and has been owned by the National Trust since 1952.

Owned by the National Trust since 1943, Courts Garden is an English country garden in the village of Holt.

Great Chalfield Manor

Philipps House & Dinton Park - Dinton near Salisbury

White Barrow - near Tilshead

Situated on Salisbury Plain, White Barrow is a Neolithic long barrow . It was the first ancient monument to be purchased by the Trust.
